In addition to all the weekend adventures I talked about in yesterday’s post, I went on a night hike on Sunday evening to try again to spot meteors. Unfortunately, I once again did not see any. Apparently if you want to see meteors, you shouldn’t bring me. This is the third time I’ve tried to see some, and the third time I’ve seen zero.

Even though the meteors were hiding from us, we did see a gorgeous sunset and a ton of stars. Plus, I got to practice my night photo skills, and I got some neat photos of the sky and stars. I really think my photography skills have improved  quite a bit this summer. I’ve been getting a ton of practice in many different landscapes and situations. I still make a lot of mistakes, but I’m having a lot of fun learning, and boy is it awesome when the shot comes out just right!
